XEvent

XEvent Identifies Problematic Queries

As DBAs and Development and Computing Infrastructure professionals, you are probably familiar with SQL Profiler as a tool for identifying performance issues. However, you may sometimes avoid using it, as the SQL profiler may overload the server activity, which already has performance issues and, in some cases, this may even lead to downtime.

For advanced versions, Microsoft has implemented Extended Events – a more efficient feature for detecting cumbersome queries compared to SQL Profiler, while reducing the server load. However, this is a complex solution which requires the skills of an experienced DBA.

At Experda, we recognized the need for a fast, easy and efficient system for improving processes. That’s why we created XEvent – a user-friendly system based on the Extended Events feature.

With XEvent, we ensure the analysis results and running method are more accessible – without requiring DBA knowledge and experience, while offering a variety of capabilities for the efficient functioning of the SQL server in your organization.
